Eric Pogue Named VP of Corporate Strategy and Finance
Formetco is proud to announce that Eric Pogue is its new VP of Corporate Strategy and Finance. Pogue, previously a consultant to the Company, knows the company well and is excited to join the Formetco team.

Pogue’s primary responsibilities will be assisting Formetco’s CEO Matt Xander navigate various strategic growth opportunities while providing organizational leadership in Formetco’s Finance and Accounting department. This growth mirrors additions across the company, including Britt McConnell’s promotion to Director of Digital Sales and the arrival of Tyler Wilson as Southeast Digital Sales Manager.

Eric Pogue’s Background in Finance and Strategy
Before joining Formetco, Pogue built a career spanning commercial banking, private equity, and executive leadership. Early on, he worked as a commercial banker, which he has said gave him a strong framework for understanding business fundamentals. He later joined Sun Capital Partners, a South Florida-based private equity firm, where he worked closely with portfolio company management teams and saw firsthand what separates successful companies from struggling ones. Pogue went on to serve as CFO for two private equity-backed portfolio companies and, most recently, as CEO of a manufacturing and fulfillment company before joining Formetco as VP of Corporate Strategy and Finance. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) with a stated interest in the sales process and in working with talented teams to achieve their goals.
Asked what drew him to Formetco, Pogue pointed to culture over any single metric: he had known CEO Matt Xander for nearly a decade and credited Xander with setting the organization’s tone. He joined at a moment when many competitors in the outdoor advertising industry were cutting costs, yet Formetco was on pace for one of its strongest quarters of the year, a run he attributed to a focus on high-quality, energy-efficient products delivered on time and a philosophy of prioritizing the overall client relationship over the bottom line of any single project.
