Overview

Formetco’s Vinyl Tension Bracket System is an adjustable tensioning bracket designed for use on both billboards and wall systems, giving crews a fast, reliable way to mount and tension vinyl copy without relying on a patchwork of straps and hooks. Instead of assembling several different pieces of hardware to hold a panel of copy in place, the crew works with a single, purpose-built bracket system engineered to do that one job well.

A Flexible, Low-Profile Mount

The system is built as a flexible wall mount that can be installed on a variety of surfaces, making it adaptable across different structure types and site conditions. Once installed, it sits at an extremely low profile of only 1” — keeping the mounted copy close to the surface for a clean appearance rather than standing off at a bulky angle.

Built for Consistent, Wrinkle-Free Tensioning

Because the brackets are fully adjustable, they accommodate both over- and undersized copy, in small and large formats alike — useful when copy dimensions vary slightly from print run to print run. Copy is tensioned from the sides and stretched tight using the Vinyl Tensioning Brackets themselves, and the system is rated to stretch and secure copy as large as 14′ × 48′ completely wrinkle-free, giving the finished installation a smooth, professional appearance.

Fast Copy Changes

Copy is finished with pole pockets and can be changed out with nothing more than the push or pull of a locking pin and a cordless drill. For crews handling regular copy rotations across multiple structures, that kind of quick-release design cuts meaningfully into the time spent on each changeout compared to systems that require re-threading straps or cables from scratch.

Built for the Outdoors

The bracket system is made of quality galvanized steel, chosen specifically for years of outdoor longevity under continuous sun, rain, and temperature swings. By replacing ratchet straps, grommets, cables, bungee cords, and spring hooks with a single adjustable bracket system, Formetco simplifies both the installation process and the ongoing maintenance a crew has to perform to keep copy tight and presentable.
