Overview
This all-purpose canvas tool pouch gives climbers a place to carry tools and fastening hardware within reach while working at height. It’s built from heavy-duty No. 4 canvas, a rugged fabric that won’t allow its contents to puncture through, keeping the user safe even when the pouch is loaded with sharp-edged fasteners and hand tools.
Drawstring Closing Top
A drawstring closing top lets the user cinch the pouch shut once it’s loaded, keeping the contents from spilling out when working at heights. Being able to close the pouch securely matters more here than on a ground-level tool bag, since anything that falls from height is a hazard to people and property below.
Belt Tunnel and Wrench Loops
The pouch has a 3” wide belt tunnel, sized to fit a standard work belt so it rides securely at the hip rather than shifting during the climb. Riding on the belt instead of over a shoulder keeps both hands free for climbing and working, which matters any time the wearer is on a ladder or moving along a structure. Dedicated spud wrench loops keep a spud wrench positioned for quick access, reflecting the pouch’s role in billboard and structural fastening work where that tool sees regular use.
Why It Matters
On a billboard crew, a tool that falls from height isn’t just lost — it’s a hazard to anyone or anything underneath the structure. A pouch that closes securely and resists puncture addresses two of the most common ways loose hardware ends up on the ground: an open top and a torn-through bottom. Pairing the Tool Pouch with a formal tool drop prevention kit gives crews a belt-and-lanyard system that covers both routine carrying and additional tethering for particularly critical tools.
