Overview
Formetco Poster Panels are engineered for outdoor advertising structures that need to stand up to the elements while keeping installation simple for the crews who service them. The copy area conforms to the outdoor industry standard of 10’5” x 22’8”, so graphics produced to industry specification fit correctly without modification.
Key Features and Benefits
Strong, Interlocking Steel Construction
The horizontal interlocking sections are constructed of 20-gauge roll formed steel for strength, giving the panel the structural integrity to hold up under wind load and repeated posting cycles over the life of the structure.
G-165 Galvanized Steel
Poster Panels are built using G-165 galvanized steel sections — the heaviest zinc coating in the industry. That heavier coating is what gives the steel its resistance to corrosion, which matters for a structure that spends its entire service life outdoors, exposed to rain, humidity, and temperature swings.
Stainless Steel Trim Package
The trim package is offered in stainless steel to resist corrosion, so the visible edge hardware holds its finish and function even as the rest of the structure weathers over time.
Quick Ground Assembly
Panels are quickly assembled on the ground and easily lifted onto any surface, which keeps crews off the structure for less time during installation and lets the bulk of the assembly work happen in a safer, more controlled setting.
Simplified Installation Hardware
High quality self-drilling stainless steel tek screws simplify installation, eliminating separate pilot-hole drilling and speeding up the overall assembly process.
Fast Graphic Installation with QuickFlex
With the QuickFlex Installation System, crews can install a graphic in less than five minutes. QuickFlex is a universal system that works with paper, vinyl, and lightweight flex posters — whether pocketed, non-pocketed, over-, or undersized — and requires no pockets or edge finishing, since the graphic is simply cut to size. Because of that simplicity, posting requires only one installer, which is a meaningful labor savings across a route of multiple boards.
