Formetco 1030 Poster Paste
Formetco 1030 is a powder poster paste produced from potatoes. It’s used to post paper directly to metal poster panel faces or over existing paper posters, giving crews a straightforward, traditional posting solution. It’s sold in 50 lb. bags.
Adhesive 410
Adhesive 410 is used for adhering paper posters to vinyl in shop and is excellent for vinyl to wood extensions. It dries quickly and is tan in color, and washes away easily with soap and water while wet, which simplifies cleanup during application. It’s non-flammable and safe to handle, with a mild odor and no strong or harmful fumes — an important consideration for crews working with adhesive in enclosed shop spaces. It carries a 6-month storage life and is sold in 5-gallon buckets covering approximately 450 sq. ft.
Adhesive Additive 450
Adhesive Additive 450 strengthens Formetco 1030 poster paste and increases weather resistance, and is most commonly used for applying vinyl on wood or metal extensions. It’s made of a blend of highly flexible acrylic polymers, dries quickly, and is slightly opaque in color. Like Adhesive 410, it washes away easily with soap and water while wet, is non-flammable and safe to handle, has a mild odor with no strong or harmful fumes, carries a 6-month storage life, and is sold in 5-gallon buckets covering approximately 450 sq. ft.
8049-OCH Adhesive
8049-OCH Adhesive is a similar adhesive to the 450 Wall-Tite, formulated for a different substrate: lightweight extensions using corrugated plastic (Coroplast) instead of traditional MDO plywood. It’s used for applying flexible vinyl or polyethylene (PE) material and dries in just under 2 hours, allowing crews to move through installation steps without a lengthy wait between adhesive application and the next stage of the job.
