Overview

Formetco’s LED Backlit Displays are built to deliver the visual quality outdoor advertising campaigns need with the lower operating and maintenance costs LED lighting makes possible. The system is engineered around illumination performance first, then backed by a construction and warranty package meant to keep that performance consistent for years.

Illumination Built to Impress

The display delivers perfectly even, edge-to-edge illumination, so there are no hot spots or dark corners to distract from the advertising copy. That even light comes paired with true color accuracy, achieved through the purest white light and highest lumen output possible, which means the colors in the ad creative read the way they were designed to, night after night.

Efficient by Design

Low voltage LED drivers give the display instant on-off illumination at any outside temperature, so operators aren’t waiting on a warm-up cycle or dealing with cold-weather startup issues. The system is designed to achieve incredible power savings for a fast return on investment, and it carries the lowest maintenance of any lighting solution, cutting down on the service calls and bulb changes that eat into a display’s profitability over time.

Built to Last

The display cabinet is built from quality galvanized steel for durable display construction, giving the lighting system a housing that can stand up to continuous outdoor exposure. The cabinet uses a slim 8” modular design, and its mounting clips make installation quick and easy for install crews working in the field.

Sizing and Configuration

Standard sizes range from 5’x11′ to 20’x60′, with custom sizes available for structures that fall outside those dimensions. The display is available in standard wrap or front insert models, giving operators flexibility in how graphics are mounted and changed out.

Backed for the Long Term

Formetco backs the LED Backlit Display with an 18-year life expectancy and a 5-year warranty, including the LED drivers. That warranty coverage on the drivers matters because they’re the component most responsible for the display’s instant on-off performance and power savings, so having them covered protects the investment in the display’s efficiency, not just its structure.
