The Formetco Select Premium Climber Package is the top-tier option in Formetco’s climber safety lineup, built for operators who want every piece of gear a climbing crew needs in one all-inclusive purchase. It includes everything found in the Deluxe package, plus a positioning lanyard, tool drop gear with a battery holster, a heavy duty collapsible tool bucket, and a hoisting rope with snap hooks — extending the Deluxe package’s coverage with additional positioning and tool-management equipment for crews handling more demanding jobs.

Complete, All-Inclusive Gear

Rather than sourcing a harness here, lanyards there, and tool-handling accessories from a third supplier, the Premium package lets billboard operators purchase a single, all-inclusive set of climber supplies covering personal fall protection, head and eye protection, hand protection, positioning, and tool handling in one order. That consistency matters for outdoor advertising operators managing gear across multiple crews and structures — every climber outfitted from the Premium package starts from the same baseline of equipment.

Personal Fall Protection

At the core of the package is the Ultralight 4 Point H harness with suspension trauma relief straps. It’s paired with a shock absorbing dual lanyard fitted with steel rebar hooks for connecting to structural anchor points, and a positioning lanyard with an aluminum rebar hook for holding a working position on structure. An 18-inch rest lanyard with two twist lock snap hooks and a 3-foot anchor beam strap with 1.75-inch webbing and a 3-inch polyester wear pad round out the connection and anchoring hardware.

Head, Eye, and Hand Protection

The package includes a Type III Class E white safety helmet with an adjustable-buckle helmet lanyard to keep it secured at height, along with anti-fog, scratch-resistant safety glasses in gray polycarbonate for eye protection in outdoor conditions. Gray cut-resistant HPPR gloves with black foam nitrile coating protect hands during rigging and hardware work without sacrificing the dexterity climbers need.

Tool Handling and Hoisting

What separates the Premium package from Deluxe is its expanded tool-handling equipment: a climber tool pouch, a 38-inch elastic tool lanyard, a belt loop D-ring, a battery holster sleeve, an adjustable wristband, and tool tether tape all work together to keep tools attached to the climber and reduce dropped-object risk. A vinyl tool transport bucket and a 5/8-inch by 75-foot kernmantle hoisting rope with snap hooks give the crew a dedicated system for hoisting tools and materials up to a working platform instead of carrying them by hand.
