Formetco Select – Essential Climber Package

Overview

The Formetco Select Essential Climber Package is built for two common situations: onboarding new technicians who need a complete, correctly matched set of climbing gear from day one, or replacing older, worn-out safety equipment that’s reached the end of its service life. It bundles the core personal protective equipment a billboard climber needs into a single, all-inclusive purchase.

What’s Included

The Essential package includes Formetco’s ultra light harness, shock absorbing dual lanyards, a safety helmet with lanyard, safety gloves, and safety glasses — the foundational layers of protection for anyone working at height on billboard structures. Ordering these components as a matched package means a crew doesn’t have to piece together compatible gear from multiple sources, and every new climber starts with the same baseline equipment as the rest of the team.

Fall Protection

At the center of the package is the Ultralight 4 Point H harness with suspension trauma relief straps. It’s paired with a shock absorbing dual lanyard fitted with aluminum rebar hooks, giving the climber connection points to structural anchors as they move around a structure during ascent, descent, and positioning.

Head and Eye Protection

The package includes a Type III Class E white safety helmet, secured with an adjustable-buckle helmet lanyard so it stays in place and doesn’t become a dropped-object hazard at height. Anti-fog, scratch-resistant safety glasses in gray polycarbonate round out the head and eye protection, guarding against debris and glare during outdoor work.

Hand Protection

Gray cut-resistant HPPR gloves with black foam nitrile coating protect the climber’s hands during rigging, hardware handling, and general structure work, while still allowing enough dexterity to manage lanyard hooks, tools, and hardware confidently at height.

Training Included
