Overview

The Formetco Select Deluxe Climber Package takes climber safety a step beyond the Essential package, bundling in additional positioning and tool-handling equipment for crews who want more capability built into their standard kit. It includes the ultra light harness, shock absorbing dual lanyards, a safety helmet with lanyard, safety gloves, and safety glasses, plus an anchor beam strap, a resting lanyard, and a climber tool pouch.

Complete, All-Inclusive Gear

Like the rest of Formetco’s climber packages, Deluxe is sold as a single all-inclusive purchase of billboard operator supplies, so crews onboarding new climbers or upgrading aging equipment get everything they need in one order rather than assembling gear piecemeal from multiple sources.

Fall Protection and Positioning

The package is built around the Ultralight 4 Point H harness with suspension trauma relief straps, paired with a shock absorbing dual lanyard fitted with steel rebar hooks for connecting to structural anchors. An 18-inch rest lanyard with two twist lock snap hooks gives climbers a way to hold a resting position on structure during extended work, and the 3-foot anchor beam strap — built with 1.75-inch webbing and a 3-inch polyester wear pad — provides a dedicated anchor point that’s protected from wear where it contacts structure.

Head, Eye, and Hand Protection

Deluxe includes the same Type III Class E white safety helmet with adjustable-buckle helmet lanyard, anti-fog scratch-resistant safety glasses in gray polycarbonate, and gray cut-resistant HPPR gloves with black foam nitrile coating found in the Essential package, protecting the climber’s head, eyes, and hands throughout the workday.

Tool Management

The added climber tool pouch gives the crew a dedicated place to carry hand tools while climbing, keeping tools secured to the climber rather than loose in pockets or bags — reducing the chance of a dropped-object hazard to anyone working below.

Training Included

As with Formetco’s other climber packages, the Deluxe package comes with complimentary Basic Climber onboarding training classes, so crews are fully equipped and properly trained from day one.
