Clip It Cut-Out Hardware

Overview

Clip It Cut-Out Hardware gives billboard crews a way to mount and secure cut-out extensions above a bulletin without drilling. Hardware is available for lightweight, wood, and metal extensions, and clips into place with no drilling required, saving installation time and avoiding additional panel penetrations.

Key Features and Benefits

Secure Vertical Support

The vertical mast clips onto the top two stringers to hold the extension perfectly upright, giving the cut-out a stable vertical reference point as it’s built up above the bulletin.

Locked-In Base

The universal retainer locks the base of the extension for sturdy support, anchoring the bottom of the cut-out so it stays aligned with the rest of the structure.

Multiple Retainer Styles

Multiple styles of retainer are available to align and secure extensions to the top of the bulletin, letting crews match the retainer to the specific panel system they’re working with.

Broad Compatibility

The system will work on hurricane frames, inverted stringers, and various bulletin sizes, giving crews one cut-out hardware approach across different structure types in the field.

Mast: 11′ length, punched every 2″ for adjustment; supports extensions of 12″ to 60″ above the top of sections
Secured with 3/8″ x 3″ Elevator Bolt/Flange Nut hardware
Cut-Out “Z” Clips available for 2″ or 3″ angle iron stringers
Retainers available in 8′ lengths: Universal (all section types), Rotarylok (1″ opening), HOP/Dura-Paint (2″ opening)

The mast’s punched adjustment holes every 2″ give crews flexibility in setting extension height within the 12″ to 60″ supported range, while the choice of Z-Clip size (2″ or 3″ angle iron stringers) and retainer type (Universal, Rotarylok, or HOP/Dura-Paint) allows the same core system to be configured for the specific bulletin and stringer setup on site.
